We feel very privileged to live here!
I love general dentistry; the field is constantly changing and there is always something to learn and improve. My interests lie in Sleep Disorder Breathing/Obstructive Sleep apnea and after taking a rigorous course through Tufts University I have learned so much about Obstructive Sleep Apnea and how it impacts our health. It is eye-opening to see how common and underdiagnosed OSA is.
Understanding the biology of the airway and how it relates to dental health has become a major part of my practice. In addition to sleep dentistry, I enjoy cosmetic dentistry and pediatrics. I have completed many smile designs. I love the artistry involved in changing people’s smiles. I work with an amazing ceramist who fabricates beautiful porcelain veneers and crowns. And lastly, I enjoy working with children. Our office goes to great lengths to make children feel comfortable and we have been successful with treating children in our office with minimal sedation.
I am proud of our team and our clinic. Our staff is so caring, and they go out of their way to make our patients feel welcomed and cared for. We have come a long way with the office – it is designed to be efficient and functional but it is also a beautiful working environment. While the practice keeps me quite busy, I love being a mom to my three children: Taron, Lara, and Isla. We ski in the winter and spend as much time on the lake in the summer.

I enjoy all aspects of dentistry however oral surgery, dental implants and orthodontics are my focus.
Currently, I provide two orthodontic systems: Invisalign and Fastbraces.
I have been using both systems for over nine years and have been successful in treating bite/functional issues as well as improving people’s smiles.
Having an ideal bite is important to prevent many dental issues such as tooth wear, dental caries, and periodontal disease.
I enjoy working with my wife in our beautiful office. Together, we can focus on the areas of dentistry that interest us and allow us to provide all services to our patients. I have taken reputable courses through John Kois, Frank Spears, and The Misch Institute.
I feel grateful to be raising my family in Vernon. Moving here was one of the best decisions. As a family, we spend most of our time outdoors. I enjoy target and trap shooting and building hot rods and wooden boats.

I have always been passionate about dentistry for as long as I can remember, and this passion drove me to complete my dental hygiene diploma at Vancouver College. I took my position with Aberdeen Dental in 2020 after my aunt recommended the office. We are a fun group of people who always go the extra mile for our patients and each other. During my spare time, I enjoy hiking and spending time with friends and family and especially my dog Cooper.

I continue to cultivate meaningful relationships with my patients while providing gentle, comprehensive care with the fantastic team at Aberdeen Dental Centre. I enjoy being outdoors, painting and spending time with my family.

I strive to make every visit a positive and enjoyable one by building trust, confidence, and long-lasting relationships. Joining the team at Aberdeen Dental was an easy transition as the clinic’s atmosphere makes it a great place to work. The dentists have the patient’s best interest at heart and really do care which is a top priority in my books. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my husband and our three children and their significant others. I am looking forward to my family expanding in the future and creating more memorable adventures.

I like assisting because I get to see various procedures a day, so it never gets boring. We moved around to a few places and did some travelling before settling back down in Vernon to raise our young family. We love the outdoors and try to get out camping as much as we can.

In 2019 I completed my Orthodontic module and have enjoyed working alongside Dr. O’Shea with our Invisalign and Fast Braces patients ever since. Working as part of the Aberdeen team, I get to work with so many great dental professionals and enjoy the supportive and fun team we have. When I’m away from the office I enjoy spending time at the lake, hiking around our local trails, socializing with friends and family when I’m able and diving into a good book.

I am continuing my education as a Certified Dental Assistant through Vancouver Community College. I have recently taken the role of lab coordinator with our new in-house milling machine, where I create crowns and bridges right here in our office. I strive to be positive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I enjoy working at Aberdeen Dental because I am constantly learning and having fun. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My interests include painting, camping, hiking, and CrossFit.

I was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and later moved to Ontario where I pursued a career in dentistry.
The irony of this was that my parents never brought me to a dentist as a child and it was a co-worker
in dry-cleaning that suggested I go to school for dentistry! I have always enjoyed working with people, so dentistry has been a great fit.
After raising my beautiful daughters in Ontario, my husband and I decided to move to Vernon. We enjoy
riding our motorcycles on the open roads of the Okanagan. I also love to hike and explore the trails and
waterfalls in this majestic province.

I recently moved from Coquitlam, it’s been my dream to live in the Okanagan and now I am
finally here. My professional career in dentistry spans over 35 years in both administration and as a certified dental assistant. I have been fortunate to take extensive training in both areas
however I am most passionate about being a patient coordinator. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending
time exploring and hiking with my husband and our fur babies, travelling and spending time with my friends and family. I am so happy to be living in Vernon and very grateful to have joined Aberdeen Dental.
